SKIPTON Building Society has appointed a new chief human resources officer.

Lisa Davis has joined the society's executive committee and will start her new role on May 1.

She has held a number of senior HR and leadership positions in financial services, including Aviva and Santander, having qualified as an accountant with EY in London.

SBS chief executive David Cutter said: "I’m delighted Lisa will be joining the society in May and bringing with her a wealth of experience and capability. Lisa is a strong fit for our business and will make a valuable contribution helping us to adapt and evolve the way we work with our people.”
