THE eyes of the world will be on the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Windsor on Saturday.

And none more so than Settle businessman Josh Harrison, whose company - Dot2Dot Branding- provides the labels for the designers hotly tipped to have designed Ms Markle’s dress.

Josh, 27, has been providing the labels, bearing the designer’s logo and care instructions, for London-based couture house, Ralph & Russo, since 2014. It was a Ralph & Russo outfit - said to have cost £56,000 - Ms Markle wore when the couple announced their engagement towards the end of last year.

Other celebrities to wear the label include Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyonce and Rihanna.

Josh, a former pupil of Settle College, and friend of singer songwriter John Newman, left school at the age of 16 and went to work for a company making similar products. He then took off travelling around the world for a couple of years before returning to set up his own business, originally in his bedroom at his parents’ home, then at The Sidings in Settle, and now at Sowarth Industrial Estate.

“I have worked with Nike skateboarding, Carhartt, Jameson’s, Boiler room, aad nevik, NHS, and JCB, supplying a range of fashion branding and promotional items through my business for a number of years,” he said.

The labels themselves, which are made in Turkey, are especially soft and luxurious he says, and guaranteed not to irritate the skin.
