A GUIDED walk setting off from Linton, near Grassington, is due to take place on Friday, June 22. Bernard Peel, a volunteer with Friends of the Dales, will lead the six mile walk, which will start from the Fountaine Inn, after a hearty breakfast. The walk will take a route across Threshfield Moor and will include plenty of interest, including a disused coal mine, a lime kiln, a doline and the spectacular Threshfield Quarry.
