SKIPTON-based children’s charity SELFA has received a major boost from the Yorkshire, West Riding Freemasons.
A grant of £3,000 through the Masonic Charitable Foundation has been made to the charity, which supports disadvantaged children with clubs, workshops and trips. The money will help to fund staff, including three full-time activity co-ordinators.
SELFA chief officer Emma Pears said: “We are reliant on grants and donations to fund these posts and we are most grateful.”
