MEMBERS of Coniston Cold Young Farmers enjoyed an evening of sporting triumph in the annual Settle District Young Farmers sports.
They took on teams from Lawkland, Rathmell and Burton-in-Lonsdale in various race ranging from 100 metres to 1,200 metres at the event, held at Settle College sports field - and which also included three-legged, 'egg and spoon' and wheelbarrow races!
Coniston's most successful single competitor was club stalwart Will Throup, who marked the last year he is eligible to compete by winning several races. Coniston Cold club chairman Gemma Darwin collected the trophy form Settle District chairman Simon Morphet. Pictured is the Coniston Cold team.
