A WOMAN has died in a car crash in Silsden this morning.
Police were called at 5.39am to Dale View, at the junction of Banklands Avenue, to reports that a car had collided with a tree.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The driver of the VW Polo, an elderly woman, died at the scene. Formal identification is yet to take place.
"Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 182 of 11/09/2018."
Firefighters were also alerted to the crash, with crews from Silsden, Keighley and Cleckheaton fire stations attending.
