Burst water main cuts Skipton supply
12:40pm Friday 9th January 2009
A burst water main today resulted in parts of Skipton and the surrounding area being cut off from the supply for a short time between 5.30am and 6am. Some areas were experiencing low pressure.
Yorkshire Water said a significant proportion of properties in Skipton and Carleton were affected, but supplies had been restored to all but three commercial properties.
