More than 900 women have so far signed up for this year’s Race for Life at Broughton Hall on Sunday May 23.
The organisers are hoping 3,200 women will take part in the two races, at 10.30am and 2.30pm. They have been set a fundraising target of £163,200.
Cancer Research UK’s Skipton events manager Jenny Key said: “So far we’ve had 914 ladies sign up, which is fantastic.”
Race for Life is the UK’s largest women-only fundraiser. Last year, 2,785 women walked, jogged or ran the five-kilometre course at Broughton.
