Gargrave resident's distress over dead birds

A woman has been left distressed after finding a number of dead birds in her Gargrave garden.

In April alone, she has had to deal with the corpses of five birds – one of which landed on her bin, splattering blood over it.

The birds were seagulls, rooks and crows.

Police wildlife officer PC Simon Crossley said: “We suspect they have been shot.”

And he warned the perpetrators could be committing a number of crimes.

“Some gulls and crows are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act and there could be offences under the Firearms Act,” he said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Crossley at Grassington Police Station on 0845 6060 247

Look for some bored stupid individual who think they are a sniper.

When they are found give them a real gun. teach them how to march, and obey orders. Still they probably to illiterate to do anything useful in life.

Olley owl

I take it that you don't do anything useful in life as well because your quote shows a distinct lack of literacy skills and understanding of grammer.
