Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been in Grassington working on a new film.
Daniel, famous for his portrayal of the teenage wizard in the hugely-successful Warner Bros movie series, is starring in Hammer Horror’s The Woman In Black.
The film, based on the book by Susan Hill and with a screenplay by Jane Goldman – wife of TV presenter Jonathan Ross – also stars Ciaran Hinds, Daniel Cerqueira, Liz White and David Burke.
Filming started two weeks ago, before moving to Halton Gill, just outside Grassington.
Cast and crew spent the week at The Grassington Lodge. Owner Diane Lowe said the group, including director James Watkins, took up nine rooms in the hotel for the week. “They were all very nice and were working very hard,” she said.
