There will be a change in the West Craven line-up on Pendle Borough Council after the elections next month.

Independent Glenn Whitaker is not seeking re-election in Barnoldswick’s Craven ward and Tory Valerie Langtree is standing down in Earby.

However, Liberal Democrat Marjorie Adams will be defending her seat in the Coates ward.

The council is currently hung, with no party in overall control.

The Conservatives have 18 seats, Labour 16, Liberal Democrats 12, British National Party two and there is one Independent.
