Kettlewell ’s scarecrow invasion has begun.

Once again, weird and wonderful creatures have been appearing around the village ahead of this year’s scarecrow festival.

It kicks off tomorrow and runs until next Sunday, August 19.

The theme of the children’s trail is hobbies and the adults’ is countries, with visitors being challenged to solve riddles along the route to find a mystery word and possibly win a prize.

Trail sheets cost £1 for adults and 50p for children.
