Bank branches to be merged

Santander is bringing together its two Skipton branches.
It is closing the one off Sheep Street and moving its business - and staff - to the other branch, just across the road, on High Street.
In a letter to customers, retail and private banking director Charlotte Hogg said: “I want to reassure you that we are confident we can continue to provide the high level of service needed in the local community.”
The move is due to take effect tomorrow (Friday, September 14).
