Two Upper Wharfedale churches will hold their harvest festivals on Sunday. The service at St Mary’s, Kettlewell, starts at 11am while the worship at St Mary’s, Conistone, begins at 6.30pm. A joint harvest lunch will be held at Kettlewell Village Hall following the 11am service and any profits will be donated to the Bishop of Bradford’s Appeal for the Diocese of Kadugli. Meanwhile, gifted fresh produce will be given to the Blenhiem Project in Bradford, and tinned and dried produce will go St George’s Crypt, Leeds.
