A meeting to decide the future of a controversial plan for 54 homes in Sutton-in-Craven will be held on Wednesday, October 31.
Craven District Council’s planning committee will meet to discuss an outline application to build 54 houses on land off Holme Lane, known as Thompson’s Field.
The plan, which was submitted by Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, includes the construction of 54 dwellings, a car parking area, landscaped river- side walk and wildflower meadow. It would also involve the installation of a roundabout on Holme Lane.
Residents have objected to the application.
The meeting will be held at South Craven Baptist Church, on Holme Lane, at 1.30pm.
