New homes are planned in village
11:00am Friday 12th October 2012 in News
Plans have been submitted to Bradford Council for a seven-house development on the edge of Addingham.
Street House Grange resident Stephen Hall is seeking planning permission for the homes on land at Street House Farm, The Street.
The plot of land, accessed via a housing estate, is at the south-western end of the village, close to the A65 Addingham bypass.
In a design and access statement, architects and designers Allison and McRae say the site is outside Addingham Conservation Area, although the adjacent Street House Farm and attached cottage are grade two listed.
They also stated housing on the site would count towards the 400-home requirement for the village proposed in Bradford Council’s Local Plan strategy document.
