£120 raised at pub event
1:00pm Friday 12th October 2012 in News
A pub coffee morning raised £120 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The Red Lion in Skipton served up cakes and buns for the event, with the money going towards the pub’s target of £1,000 raised by the end of the year. Gary and Liz Cummins, from the pub, thanked chef Janet Smith for doing all the baking. Meanwhile, the Red Lion will be closed until next Friday, October 19, for a major refurbishment and rebranding.
