There was a bit of everything at Gisburn Auction Marts’ breeding and store sale on Saturday.
Kicking off proceedings was the ninth annual show and sale of in lamb continental sheep.
John and Linda Mellin, Hull House, Hellifield, topped at £295 for the first prize shearling. The highlight in this section, however, were Robert Towers’ Charollais sheep. Two crop ewes sold to £350 and shearlings to £335.
