FEIZOR farmers WA and A Booth took the reserve championship at Gisburn Auctions' July pedigree sale.
Shadow S Delia sold at £1,950 to a local pedigree breeder.
The Booths were also in the money with a Gillette Jordan heifer out of the Squaw family going to North Wales at £1,900.
The champion's rosette went to Whytil Lavanguard Snowdrift, shown by J & M Singleton and Sons and sold to F Talbot and Co, Ribchester, for £2,000.
Malcolm Fell, of Newton, had a strong show of cattle with his first prize cow selling at £1,960 and heifers at £1,980 and £1,950.
A Bretherton, of Inglewhite, showed a very milky heifer for £1,850.
Non-registered heifers peaked at £1,880 for Shackletons, of Broughton Fields, and £1,660 for veteran heifer rearer PK Smith who, at over 80, is still as keen as ever.
Trade was brisk with buyers filling orders and only the poorer sorts seem to struggle.
