CRAVEN College is hosting a festive open day on Saturday from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
It is an opportunity to visit all Skipton campuses, workshops and studios and meet tutors from a wide range of curriculum areas.
There will also be demonstrations, hands-on taster sessions and complimentary mulled wine, tea, coffee and mince pies in the Aireville Campus Café.
Highlights include the live broadcasting hub at the Aireville Campus, joinery workshops at the Centre for Construction at Snaygill, demonstrations at The Centre for Land-based Studies and Engineering at Skipton Auction Mart and hands-on taster sessions at the college’s Academy of Hair and Beauty and Brasserie restaurant and training kitchens, both based on the High Street campus.
Also at the High Street, there will be two computing tasters at 10am and 11.15am - where students will be able to have a go at programming robots, making electronics and doing weird things with Jelly Babies. To book, call 01756 707233.
