A sod cutting ceremony was held in October 2013
BENTHAM Community Primary School will be officially opened next month.
The ceremony — on Friday, February 27 — will be attended by pupils, staff, parents, members of the local community and civic dignitaries.
And there will also be a celebrity guest.
“This is an important and momentous occasion for both Bentham and its wider community,” said headteacher Catherine Boocock.
Work on the £5 million school started in October, 2013, and pupils are due to move in after the February half-term holiday.
