A CRAVEN headteacher is pioneering drop-in sessions in community spaces around Skipton.
Wendy Hamilton, of The Skipton Academy, is embarking on a new initiative to make information about her school even more accessible by hosting open surgeries at the town's library and Greatwood Community Centre.
The drop-ins are open to all and Wendy hopes they will prove effective in helping people to find out more about the academy.
Wendy said: βIt is a chance for parents and residents to ask any questions they want about the academy. I am really looking forward to meeting people and helping them with information about our school.β
Wendy pioneered drop-ins at her last school in Lincolnshire and it is believed they are a new idea for Craven.
Wendy will be at Greatwood Community Centre on Saturday from 11.30am to 2pm and at Skipton Library on Saturday, March 21 from 9.30am to noon.
