A CAREERS convention at South Craven School is open to students from other educational establishments.
Organiser Karen Higson is urging students and their parents from any background to go along on Wednesday. (March 18).
The convention, held every two years, will be held from 9am to 3pm in the Cross Hills school’s Fells Hall.
Representatives have been invited from local and national companies, and further education establishments like Craven College.
All will be on hand to give out information about job, education and training opportunities.
The convention is open to all students from years 7 to 13 and above, who will receive advice about career path’s.
The careers convention has been arranged on the same day as Craven School’s SPM day, when students and parents go in for progress reports, so it is hoped that they will call while they are in the school..
