YEAR five pupils from two very different schools enjoyed a residential trip to Buckden House in the heart of the Dales.
Youngsters from Threshfield Primary School - which has 59 children on its roll, is located in a building dating back to 1674 and is surrounded by rolling hills - joined pupils from Eastwood Primary, which educates 450 children from a large modern building in the centre of Keighley.
Threshfield headteacher Sue Payne said: "Children from both schools got together for an exciting schedule of caving, gill scrambling, team building and adventurous challenges.
"They made new friends and learnt about their different cultural backgrounds. It was great fun for all of them."
