THANKS to the generosity of Settle Co-operative store, class three pupils at Giggleswick Primary School were able to start their day with a French-style breakfast.
Dressed in colours of the French flag, they entered their classroom which had been transformed into a French café, complete with freshly-baked French pastries and bread, donated generously by Settle Co-op.
Pupils decided it was a great way to practise their French!
Earlier in the term, they had been learning the vocabulary for ‘le petit déjeuner français’, with their teacher, Kate Butcher and so were confidently able to ask for various items and comment on their favourite breakfast foods.
