POLICE are appealing for information after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash on the A59 near Blubberhouses. It occurred on Kex Gill Road yesterday at around 3.45pm and involved a yellow Suzuki motorcycle, which was heading from Bolton Abbey towards Harrogate.
The rider, a 67-year-old Knaresborough man, was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary where he is in a critical condition.
Traffic Sergeant John Lumbard, of the force’s roads policing group, said: “If you witnessed the collision or saw the motorcycle prior to the incident, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away as you may have vital information.”
