EARBY Astronomical Society will meet tomorrow at All Saints’ Church, Earby, from 7.30pmto 9pm.
The speaker will be Kevin Kilburn FRAS, from the Manchester Astronomical Society, and the talk will be on ‘The Forgotten Star Atlas’. It is the story of a very rare 18th-century star map discovered in the Manchester Astronomical Society Library in 1998. Less than 10 of these atlases have survived.
