SNAKES alive! Halloween at Skipton's Castle Inn promises to be a truly horrific affair.
The pub, on Mill Bridge, will mark the occasion by having a variety of live snakes on show.
The idea was the brainchild of assistant manger and snake owner Joanna Gregory, who will be showing some of her reptile friends on Saturday from 6pm to 7pm
The event is completely free, but there will be a £1 charge to have photographs taken with the snakes.
All proceeds will go towards the recovery of 22-year-old Richard Pawson from Flasby who suffered a serious head injury in a quad bike accident on the Spanish island of Ibiza.
