OWNERS of a bed and breakfast guest house are delighted after gaining a top award from holiday ratings website TripAdvisor.

Moor View, at Cold Cotes near Clapham, was the only Yorkshire Dales establishment to be recognised in the 'Top 25 B&B and Inns' category of the Travellers' Choice Award for 2015.

It came 16th in the United Kingdom, a rating based on reviews by travellers.

The B&B was opened by Andrew and Linda Warin in April 2013 and has has recently been refurbished.

Andrew said: "We cannot thank our guests enough - it is their wonderful reviews that have made this award possible. Guests travel to Moor View for many reasons, mostly to walk and explore this area of outstanding natural beauty.

"The Ingleton Waterfall Trail, White Scar and Ingleborough Caves are very popular and May to September weekends are busy with guests doing The Three Peak Challenge, many doing it for charity.

"We pride ourselves in using locally-sourced produce whenever possible or from within the county. It is vital to support others in the area."
