A decision determining the next step in the long fight to build wind turbines at Brightenber Hill, near Gargrave, is likely to be made in the next few weeks.
A consultation period for interested parties in the plans to build three 328ft (100m) turbines ran out on February 19 and discussions are now taking place with the Planning Inspectorate to agree the next step.
It will either mean the appeal will be redetermined following written representations, by a public hearing, or a full blown public inquiry.
The redetermination followed a successful challenge to the second appeal decision by applicants, Energie Kontor UK.
