SKIPTON Musical Theatre Company will mark its 90th anniversary by staging a popular show which is also celebrating a key milestone.
It will perform Rodgers and Hammerstein's much-loved classic Carousel - which first opened on Broadway in April, 1945.
Named the best musical of the 20th century by Time Magazine, it will light up the Mart Theatre in October with a score that includes You'll Never Walk Alone, If I Loved You and June is Bustin' Out All Over.
Following the sell-out success of last year's Oliver!, the company will welcome back professional director Craig Cowdroy, who will bring his characteristically contemporary vision to Carousel.
Auditions will take place on Sunday, April 26.
