THE 2015 Embsay with Eastby Village Show will be held on Saturday.
The village hall will be filled with colour and scents of flowers, fruit and vegetables, baking and preserves, handicrafts and photographs, submitted by adults and children.
The show will be open from 2.30 to 4.30pm, with prizes and trophies being presented at 4pm. Refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon and entry is £2 for adults and free for children under 16 free.
There has been a show in the village ever since the end of the Second World War.
Schedules are available at the Post Office, library and other outlets in Embsay and entry forms must reach Claire Harry, Rowans, Main Street, Embsay (at the rear of the Old Post Office, Elm Tree Square) no later than 9pm on Wednesday.
