GTS Performing Arts students have sent £250 to Thyroid Cancer Research following their sell-out show, Musicality, last month.
The school decided to give all the income from cafe/bar, raffle and programmes sales to the charity after one of its members was diagnosed with the condition.
The show was a mix of script, songs and dance from hits such as Annie Get Your Gun, Calamity Jane, Oklahoma, Wizard of Oz, Wicked and We Will Rock You.
GTS - which is based at Skipton Town Hall - is holding an open evening on Wednesday from 6pm for potential new members before starting classes and show rehearsals on Wednesday, September 9.
Dev Swan, from GTS, said "We are a small charity and no-one involved takes any payment or expenses. It all goes back into the shows and even into some equipment for the town hall. We are going to be performing a Christmas show in December and again any income will be going to charity and next year we are applying for the rights to perform The Little Mermaid."
