SILSDEN Library is staging a rhyme challenge.
It is among 13 libraries across the Bradford district taking part.
Children and parents are challenged to learn five rhymes together.
Everyone completing the venture will receive a certificate from libraries mascot Bookstart Bear.
There is also a prize draw to win Gruffalo story sacks and musical instrument sets.
And staff working with the youngsters will have the chance of receiving an award.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council's executive member for education, skills and culture, said: "The rhyme challenge is a great introduction to books for toddlers and young children, showing them the fun that can be had with words. We hope people get involved."
The challenge will run at Silsden Library from 10.30am on March 1, 8, 15 and 22.
