A CROSS Hills hair studio is a cut above the rest when it comes to charity fundraising.
Panache raised £3,000 for Manorlands through sales of a calendar.
Studio owner Vicky Hodgson was behind the project.
"I'd like to thank our loyal customers and the generous people of Cross Hills and the surrounding area who contributed to the fundraising by purchasing the calendar – which depicts local scenes," she said.
"We know copies have been sent all over the world and to have raised so much for such a great cause is fantastic."
Photographer John Dinneen shot the images and the calendar was compiled and printed by Thomas Dornan (Printers) Ltd.
Manorlands-based Sue Ryder fundraiser Andrew Wood thanked Panache and all those involved.
He added: "Such a large amount of money will make a real difference to local people who need Sue Ryder's vital services as the months of the 2016 calendar go by."
