Craven schools ranked in new performance tables
SCHOOLS and colleges in North Yorkshire have again performed strongly in the rankings of the National Performance Tables.
As in previous years, close to the top of the county table were Skipton Girls' High School in third and Ermysted's Grammar School, Skipton, which was fourth.
Settle College came in at 16th in the county, South Craven School was 37th, Skipton Academy was 48th.
The tables released by the Department for Education today, rank the schools based on the percentage of pupils gaining five or more GCSEs at grade A* - C in their 2015 exams.
