INFORMATION on how firms can set up a pension scheme open to all their employees will be provided at a meeting organised by the Craven branch of the Federation for Small Businesses.
Paul Baker, of FSB Pension Services, will outline how businesses can comply with new pensions legislation at the Rendezvous Hotel, Skipton, on Wednesday, February 24, at 6pm. The meeting is open to members and non-members.
He will also explain the key features and benefits available to FSB members who decide to set up and manage their schemes through FSB Pension Services.
Craven FSB chairman Verner Wheelock said: "The deadline is rapidly approaching when all businesses must have a pension scheme in place which is open to all employees. Many business owners still do not appreciate that there are no opt-outs and that it can be quite tricky to arrange for a scheme to be set up."
Admission to the meeting is £5 and includes supper. All those who wish to attend should email: verner.wheelock@vwa.co.uk
