Village Hall: Appletreewick Village Hall’s AGM was held on October 28, when a new committee was elected. Thanks were given to Rebecca Nelson, who has resigned as chairman, for all her work. The chairman’s role will now rotate among the committee members. The recent ladies lunch was a great success and £270 was raised.
Spirits night: A Halloween Spectacular was held on Friday. This was a sellout success, with £500 raised for the village hall fund. Thanks to North Yorkshire Paranormal Society who attended the event.
Bonfire: A bonfire will be held on Saturday in Appletreewick. It will be lit at 6pm, with fireworks from 6.30pm.
Conkers: People are invited to compete for the Craven Arms Appletreewick Conker Championship title on Friday at 6.30pm. Entry is free and children are welcome.
