Methodist church: The preacher at Sunday’s 10.30am service at St Peter’s Methodist Church will be the chairman of the Lancashire District, the Rev Paul Davis. Anyone with ideas for the Easter morning service should contact David on 01282 842617.
Churches Together: The Tuesday evening Lenten meetings are continuing at Mount Zion, with members of the different churches taking them in turn. Meet at 7.15pm for refreshments for a 7.30pm start.
Earby Gardeners: Earby and District Gardeners’ Society will hold its 28th spring bulb show in memory of former chairman Peter Bullock. The show will be held from 11am to 1pm next Saturday, March 22, at the New Road Community Centre. Exhibits will be staged between 9am and 10am. There will be soup and sandwiches and plants for sale.
