Community centre: Don’t forget the village litter pick on Saturday from 9.30am. Tea and toast will be served at 11am. For safety, wear fluorescent jackets – the centre has spares if needed. The March Meet and Eat is on Wednesday when you can enjoy a two-course lunch followed by a social afternoon. The Friendly Quiz starts at 8pm, also on Wednesday. The centre has a large array of books, jigsaws and magazines in its library, so come and choose at your leisure. Bacon butty mornings start from Easter weekend and volunteers are needed.
