Flower Club: At the March meeting of North Craven Flower Club, Linda Hardman, from Goosnargh gave a delightful demonstration, entitled Flowerstalk. It encompassed a wide range of designs. The next meeting on April 10 will include Abi and Tom’s garden plants, with the emphasis on early spring colour. The club will hold a coffee morning at the institute at 10am on April 12 which will include cakes, produce, a plant stall, tombola and raffle. For more information, contact Cath on 01756 710352.
Women’s Institute: The WI meets in the institute tonight at 7.15pm for a pudding evening. Come along and sample some delicious puddings. Bring a photo of yourself as a baby for a guessing competition. A warm welcome will be given to visitors and new members.
Coffee morning: There will be a Pre-School Mothering Sunday coffee morning in the institute on Saturday from 10am.
