Ladies Sunday: Ladies of the congregation of Salem Congregational Chapel, Martin Top took total responsibility for the service last Sunday. It was led by Susan Tattersall, with Margaret Kenyon leading the prayers, Kathleen Scott receiving the offerings and Sandra Lund reading Psalm 139. Edith Isaacs read a passage from Luke and spoke of the value of remembering and keeping spiritual festivals. Following the service, the men of the congregation served refreshments and warm fellowship was shared by all.
