Church news: On Sunday, Austwick Church will hold a service of Holy Communion for Pentecost at 9.30am and a further Holy Communion at 6.30pm.
Bowling Club: Last Saturday Austwick Bowling Club travelled to play Burton-in-Lonsdale. Austwick won by six games to four. On Sunday the club held its annual competition for the H Pye Trophy. Sixteen players were divided into two teams and the individual winners were Brian Wright in Team A whilst Margaret Pye in Team B. This Saturday members will go to Ingleton and on Sunday will host Kirkby Lonsdale at home
