SKIPTON'S Dyneley House Surgery held the second in a series of patient education events on Monday.
Dyneley Barn was bursting at the seams with patients interested in understanding and managing arthritis.
Kelly Hayes-Head, a rheumatology clinical nurse specialist, and Ruth Stevens, an occupational therapist, provided an insight into the theory and practice of dealing with both rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis.
Practice manager Antony Radley said: “We have received some fantastic feedback about how useful patients feel these education sessions are. They seem to add real value.”
The December event will focus on Parkinson’s Disease and dementia in January.
