NORTH Craven Strollers Walking for Health group will head to a range of destinations for its 2015 walks.

Every Wednesday there is free walk of between 60 to 90 minutes either in the Settle-Giggleswick area or further afield.

Also, starting next Wednesday, people will be able to enjoy one-hour strolls or 30-minute saunters around Settle.

From January 15, there will be walks in Hellifield on the third Thursday of the month, starting at 11am from Aherne's car park, and February will see the resumption of the Gargrave walks on the first Thursday of the month at 10am from Summerseat.

On Wednesday, January 14, there will be an out of town walk around Clapham, and on Wednesday, January 28, the Strollers will head to Rathmell.

All the Settle and out of town walks leave from Millennium Gardens, near Booths car park, at 1.30pm and the start times are planned to coincide with the Settle-Skipton bus service.

The strolls are free and are aimed at people trying to get fitter, or recovering from operations or illnesses, or not wanting to go as far as they might have done on the past. All that is needed is a good pair of shoes or boots and weatherproof clothing.
