A new branch of the Rotary Club has just started in Cross Hills - and it is looking for new members.

Cross Hills resident Jag Gunputh has been a member of Bingley Rotary Club for 14 years and is helping to launch the new club.

He said: "The response to our first meeting was splendid. Most people had never heard of Rotary, so it was good to raise people's awareness of the organisation. We aim to help both the local and international communities by delivering the needs of others."

The club is open to anybody over 21 and anyone wanting further information should contact 01535 633816.
