A brick was thrown through the main window of Turner's solicitors, Cross Hills, at around 1.30am on Saturday, police revealed today.
Police are appealing for anyone with any information about the incident to come forward.
PC Mark Browne said: "It would have made a fair bit of noise. If anybody noticed a group of people who looked out of place, or heard the crash, we'd like to hear from them."
