Staff and pupils will be donning Victorian dress as Sutton-in-Craven Church of England Primary School celebrates its 150th anniversary.

The festivities will take place on Thursday from 9am to 4pm. There will be performances from the school's drama group and choir in the morning, while the afternoon will see a duck race, a bouncy castle and Victorian arts and crafts. Memorabilia and material from the school's archives will also be on display.

School administrator Toni Birch said: "We've got lots of fascinating archive material, including a headmaster's school diary from the 1930s. Past pupils have also brought photos forward. If there are people out there with any more photos or material relating to the school we'd love to hear from them."

"Anybody who wants to come along on the day will be very welcome."

Anyone who has any memorabilia can call 01535 632181.
