Teenager attacked by hoodies

A 17-year-old youth was attacked as he walked along Mill Street, Sutton-in-Craven, on Sunday night.

The teenager, who lives in the village, needed hospital treatment for a cut to his chin, grazes to his chest and bruising to his elbow.

Police said today that he was assaulted by two male youths - who were both white and aged about 18 - at 9.45pm.

One of the suspects was wearing a dark hoodie while his accomplice was dressed in a black hoodie, a light-coloured baseball cap and white tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Skipton Police on 0845 6060 247 or the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
