Herald stages recruitment fair

The Craven Herald is staging a recruitment and training fair later this month.

It is being sponsored by Craven College and will take place at the college's site on Skipton High Street on Thursday May 22.

The event will run from 9.30am to 4pm and there will be goody bags for the first 50 visitors.

More than 300 people visited the last event, which gave companies an opportunity to promote current job vacancies and provide training advice.

Visitors included a mix of potential job seekers looking for a career change, mothers returning to work and people wanting advice on training and career path guidance.

So far, nine exhibitors have signed up for the latest fair, including Craven College, Bradford and Bingley, Anchor Homes, Acorn Stairlifts, Bradford Council Homecare and Residential Services, The Army, Homeloan Management, Shard Recruitment and The Craven Herald.
